Fees and Services

I offer a complimentary in-person consultation for new clients.

The main purpose of this 30-minute appointment is for you to ask me questions that will help you decide if you'd like to begin seeing me for counselling and/or art therapy. If you'd like to book an initial consultation, you can phone me at 778-846-6504.

Sessions can be 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or 120 minutes in length.

At Oasis Creative Counselling in West Vancouver, you can choose the length of your sessions based on your personal needs and goals. If you're unsure, we can discuss this and decide together. I recommend 90 minutes for an initial session, but 60 minutes is also sufficient. The benefit of having more time during the initial session is that I can gain a deeper understanding of what has brought you to see me. Having detailed knowledge of your specific situation helps me develop a thorough and effective treatment plan. Generally, 120-minute sessions are utilized for complex or emotional art pieces that may take more time to complete or process.

My regular rates are as follows:

60-minute session: $130 (GST included)

90-minute session: $170 (GST included)

120-minute session: $200 (GST included)

I accept payment by cash, cheque, or credit card at the beginning or end of sessions.

You may have coverage through your extended healthcare plan.

If you have extended health benefits, ask your provider if they cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). If you have coverage for these services, you can submit your official receipts to your extended healthcare provider for reimbursement.

I also offer student rates and a sliding scale for low-income clients.

If you can't afford my regular rates and you don't have coverage for my services, ask me about my sliding scale or student rates. These rates can be negotiated and are based on availability.

Additionally, I am registered to provide services through the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). If you have Indian status or if you have benefits through CVAP, you are likely covered to receive my services.
